External Security Camera We value and respect the privacy of our guests. For added safety, especially for guests who travel alone, two EXTERNAL security cameras are installed in the lobby of the apartment building OUTSIDE each apartment, above the door, for monitoring the entrance/exit points of the property. NO camera/s in the apartment. We recommend not booking this property if you are not comfortable with this precaution. Keys Our guests are provided with two keys, one for the building entrance door and one for the apartment entrance door upstairs. Guests who lose one or both keys will be charged a replacement fee of €60 (per key) to their account. Casa dos Jacintos maintains and enforces a strictly smoke-free environment. This means: Absolutely no smoking or vaping is permitted on the premises. This includes the balcony, the building hallway outside the condo, and the exterior entrance area. If smoking or vaping occurs during your stay, a €250,00 special cleaning fee will be billed to your account. Fireplace Not Operable With Wood, Pellets, Coal etc. The fireplace is NOT operable for burning wood or any other flammables. Guests who disregard this information and attempt to use it anyway will be charged a €500,00 maintenance and repair fee or more to their account, depending on the damages. Our guests are welcome to use the electrical fireplace insert instead. It must not be removed from the fireplace. It provides digital flame effects and can also serve as a heat source (optional). No Open Fire Burning candles or other material on the premises, including the balcony, is prohibited. For your safety and convenience, we provide battery-operated LED candles. Appliances Guests are required to operate household machinery, such as the kitchen stove, heating devices, or the washer/dryer combination, only while at least one adult is in the apartment. With the exception of dehumidifiers, appliances are not to be left running unattended. Guests are liable for damage caused by improper or unattended use of household appliances. Books, Games, and the Entertainment Center Vinyl records, CDs, the CD player in the living room, as well as the games and puzzles provided by Casa dos Jacintos, are to be kept on the premises at all times. Books are property of Casa dos Jacintos, if not indicated otherwise. Filming and Photo Shoots Any use of this property as a photo or video shooting location, including, but not limited to, travel blogs and social media, requires prior written permission from the host.
